Clay by Liene is Norway-based jewelry online shop with worldwide-shipping since 2024. The founder of Clay by Liene is also an artist and content creator, attending local markets as well. This is a little note from her:

Hi, I am so happy for each person who discovers my jewelry. Actually, I had a friend who started making polymer clay earrings during corona and never could I have imagined that I would do the same only three years later. This idea was born over a night, believe it or not, but even if the idea seemed impulsive, to build something own and to decide my own schedule has always been a dream and something that kept growing inside of me for years. I even tried out by selling my art at first.

See, I was born in poor conditions in Latvia and we used to create our own Christmas gifts because we couldn't afford brand new stuff from the store. I learnt different creative things during my childhood, and with no TV, I had lot of time.

Our family moved to Sweden when I was 8 years old and after moving across the country several times I learnt to adapt quickly to the idea of starting over unlimited times. Even though I felt rootless, I always found my roots in creativity and my imagination or faith.

After I was diagnosed with a disease, it was a hard world to live in where getting an ordinary job was almost impossible. Then I moved to Norway and I finally realized that I have to create my own stream of income by being creative.

Basically, everything in life prepares us and sets us up for what we're suppose to do. I see now how life gave me a mind of an entrepreneur, and how adversities made me only realize that I should take my own dreams more seriously.

So here I am, trying to find a balance between my Baltic enthusiasm for colors, because we do love colors, and the simplicity and sophisticated design of Scandinavia.

I want my jewelry reflect the creativity and passion I hold, and you should be bold too, to dress up, to express yourself and maybe go after some dreams too!
